I worked with Delta Faucets to develop new screens and features for their existing website, including the homepage, header and navigation, collections, product-centric search results, product comparison, and products presentation.
The site map I developed here helped to define the navigation in the user experience, all the way from the universal or main navigation down to the complex faceted navigation needed to enable filtering on the many products Delta offered, as seen below. We applied much of this same thinking to their more upscale sister brand, Brizo, too.
I designed the user experience for presenting Delta faucet’s extensive product range, including the development of complex collection filters, which visitors could use to refine results on the site. We ensured the experience scaled gracefully across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Competitive Analysis Ensures Ongoing Improvement
I also assisted Delta Faucets with user experience research, including a detailed competitive analysis report, which compared the company against its competitors American Standard, Kohler, Moen, and Toto.
